Oxfam and IDare‘s Tabir (Expression) project, supporting 33 young men and women to film, edit, and produce their own films in Kufranjah, Jordan. For 45 days, they were fully immersed in the film production process, supported and supervised by a team of professional filmmakers and youth workers.

I interviewed some of the young people about their experiences, their films, and their aspirations for the future. Based on what they told me, I wrote this blog and edited this video – highlighting some of the barriers that young people in Jordan face in making themselves heard and participating in civil society.
