JUSTICE FOR HUDA

Some of Oxfam’s most challenging campaigning work in Jordan was around gender issues and women’s rights. In the family courts, gender inequality is very much institutionalized, with different rights for men and women written into the law.

To tackle this issue and communicate the real-life implications of these policies, we partnered with the Jusice Centre for Legal Aid. Based on their experiences supporting women in the courts, we designed Justice for Huda, an online game simulating the experience of a Jordanian women navigating the court system.
